Berry Cake Recipe







Ingredients:


  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 5 eggs 
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilia 
  • 2 tsp. sour cream contain a minimum of 18% butterfat
  • 2 tsp. baking powder 
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups berry
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar



Preparation:


  1. Preheat oven to 392°F.
  2. Cream butter, sugar with electric mixer, next add eggs, vanilla and sour cream and mix well.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add flour mixture to batter.
  4. Spread 1/3 the batter to smooth the top.
  5. Rest of the batter spread into the prepared pan
  6. Next spread berries (drained) on top of batter.
  7. Cover berries with remaining better and bake for 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out dry and cake is golden brown.
